Compass Bank/BBVA Compass Bank is giving you back up to $50 per month if you open a new account by July 31, 2009.  You will get 5% back when you pay for gas, groceries and utilities using your BBVA Compass Visa Check Card.  

Get up to $50 per month in May 2009, June 2009, July 2009 and August 2009 for a total of $200 dollars.

Open a new BBVA Compass consumer checking account between May 18, 2009 and July 31, 2009 and receive 5% cash back on qualifying Check Card purchases/payments made at gas stations, grocery stores, and to utility companies between May 18, 2009 and August 31, 2009. A qualifying purchase is any signature-based purchase, Internet purchase, phone or mail order purchase, bill payment, contactless purchase.
