Citibank in partnership with MySpace just release a new card for younger audience called Citi Forward. Basically it reward cardholders if they manage the card wisely. The credit card automatically lowers the interest rate by 0.25% when card holders make a purchase, stay under their credit line and pay on time for 3 consecutive months.
The card earns 5 reward points for every $1 on books, movies, music and at restaurants. Perfect for the college students. It appears this college is model after Citibank MTVu card. There are 6,000 bonus points after $50 in purchases made wihtin 3 months and 5,000 bonus points if you sign up for paperless statement. Basically, you’re getting a $110 gift card for spending $50. Not to bad.
