Discover has rolled out Shop Smart Price Protection just in time for the holidays. Price Protection is similar to Citi Price Rewind. Use your Discover card to do your holiday shopping and if you find a lower price within 90 days, Discover will cover the difference. Here’s your reminder to register for American Express Small Business Saturday! Registration begins at MIDNIGHT MST (2AM EST). Remember that enrollment is limited! On Small Business Saturday, you’ll get $25 statement credit for spending $25 with your American Express card at a small business. Check the map on the site to see which businesses near you are participating!

With the holidays comes holiday shopping and meticulous searching for the best deals and prices. Citi is helping to take some of the load off of you and help you find the best prices. With Citi Price Rewind, you can track your holiday purchases and if there is at least a $25 discount within 30 calendar days, you will be refunded the difference.

Keep in mind that you do need to create an account for this free service and that you should save all your receipts to claim a refund. You can search for products by UPC code, product name, model number, or product description. Citi Price Rewind monitors the daily progress of your list of products and you’ll be notified by e-mail whether or not you quality to request a refund.

Visa has joined the digital wallet game, joining PayPal, PayPass, and Google Wallet, with V.me by Visa. To be clear, you do NOT need a Visa card to use V.me; your V.me account can store Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. Visa has said that they have signed with over 50 financial institutions, combining to service over 55 million people. Online merchants, such as 1-800-Flowers are also on board with V.me.

Unlike Google Wallet, though, V.me is only for online payments made through your computer, tablet, or mobile phone. In the future, V.me plans to allow you to pay via mobile phone in stores, give you customized deals, and help you create a budge and track spending.
