Discover has rolled out Shop Smart Price Protection just in time for the holidays. Price Protection is similar to Citi Price Rewind. Use your Discover card to do your holiday shopping and if you find a lower price within 90 days, Discover will cover the difference. Unlike Citi Price Rewind however, prices will not be monitored for you and you must find the lower price yourself.
However, Discover Shop Smart has these other great benefits:
- Protected for 90 days on stolen or damaged Discover card purchases, up to $500
- Return your Discover card purchases within 90 days regardless of store policies
- Automatically extended manufacturer’s or purchased warranty up to a year for FREE
