American Express $10 Statement Credit for $50 Purchase at Loews

American Express is offering a $10 bonus statement credit when you purchase $50 at Loews Home Improvement stores.  An active Twitter account and Amex Card is required for the statement credit.  You must sync your American Express card to Twitter account and must tweet with hashtag #AmexLoves to add the offer to your synced account.

Reminder: 2013 First Quarter 5% Cash Back Offers

A few days ago, we posted about 2013’s first quarter 5% cash back offers from Chase, Citi, and Discover. Back then, only registration for Discover’s Cashback offer was opened. As of now, registration is open for all 3 cards, so hurry up and register! The first quarter runs from January 1, 2013-March 31, 2013.

As a reminder, here are the 5% cashback categories for each card:

  • Chase Freedom: Gas stations, Drugstores, and Starbucks stores. Up to $75 cash back ($1,500 in purchases). Sign up begins December 15th.
  • Citi Dividend: Zappos.com*, Fitness clubs, Drugstores. Up to $300 cash back ($6,000 in purchases) per calendar year. Sign up not yet open.

Discover Card Double Cash Back – Dec. 12th

Today (12/22/12), use your Discover Card and you can get double cash back. You’ll have to login to your account and sign up for the 2% Cashback Bonus on all purchases. These purchases are not added to your annual purchases eligible for 1% Cashback Bonus. Allow up to two billing periods for the Cashback to be posted on your account. This promotion should stack with the 5% Cashback for online purchases.

With a Discover card, there will be frequent opportunities to get double Cashback Bonus. For example, during the month of your birthday and other big holidays, you’ll also get this same perk. If you don’t have a Discover card, you can sign up for one here.
