Citibank and New York Mets have teamed up to offer an “Amazin” Checking Promotion to Mets Fans in the Tri-State region area.   Open a new Citibank checking account and receive a free initial order of Mets-branded checks, a Mets baseball cap and a Mets pen to show support of their favorite team, as well as up to a $100 account opening bonus.  There will also be events for Mets fans at branches throughout the season. The promotion launches on May 1 and runs through August 31.

The Citibank Amazin’ Package Promotion is available for customers who open a new Citibank checking account with a deposit of $1,000 and conduct qualifying transactions such as online bill pay or direct deposit.
