For a limited time only, you can get up to 1,500 FREE miles from United and American Airlines. These are quick, free miles which only require a few minutes at most, so grab them before they’re gone!

United Airlines: Get 400 miles by signing up for bckstgr.com. You can register with an existing MileagePlus account number or create a new BCKSTGR account and enroll with MileagePlus. Get an additional 200 miles each for linking your Facebook, Twitter, and FourSquare accounts. Select your social media accounts from the “Profiles & Preferences” tab.

American Airlines: “Like” both the American Airlines and AAdvantage Facebook pages. Then, on either page, find the “Miles for Your Thoughts” tab and complete the survey for 500 miles. Note that you can’t complete the survey on both pages and get extra miles. Offer valid through December 17th.

Hurricane Sandy has affected approximately a third of the United States and devastated millions. Several Airline loyalty programs are currrently offering miles for those who donate. Of course, the main objective and incentive is a chance to help those in need.

  • $50-$99 donation: 250 bonus award miles.
  • $100+ donation: 500 bonus award miles.
  • Donations can be made to the American Red Cross, Feeding America, or AmeriCares. United Airlines will match up to $100,000 in donations.
• American Airlines:
  • $50+ donation: 250 AAdvantange bonus miles
  • $100+ donation: 500 AAdvantage bonus miles
• Salvation Army accepts airline mile donations (United and Delta), with a minimum of 1,000 miles
